- Supervise and coordinate the activities of stockroom staff - Train and develop stockroom employees to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management - Maintain inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies - Oversee the receiving, storing, and distribution of merchandise - Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures in the stockroom - Collaborate with other departments to meet customer demands and resolve any issues - Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to stockroom operations - Monitor stock levels and place orders for replenishment as needed - Organize and maintain the stockroom to optimize space utilization Skills:
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to effectively lead a team - Excellent training and development abilities to enhance employee performance - Multilingual proficiency to communicate effectively with diverse staff and customers - Strong administrative skills for managing paperwork, reports, and inventory records - Proven experience in team management, fostering a positive work environment, and resolving conflicts - Exceptional organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory records and track merchandise movement - Sales-oriented mindset to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products - Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Bilingual proficiency is a plus - Previous experience as an Assistant Manager is preferred Join our team as a Stockroom Manager and contribute to the success of our retail operations.
